Justice for Southeastern Montana MMIP Part 2
According to the Montana DOJ, Indigenous Peoples in Montana are four times more likely than others to go missing. Our lives, our relatives, and our communities are at heightened risk of violence, and yet we are consistently denied justice. Our families and communities continue the fight. Join Chuckee Cochran, Cheryl Horn, Aldean Bighair, and Sovereign Bodies during Part Two of our Justice for Southeastern Montana MMIP. These community members persist in demanding justice for their relatives, despite police negligence and inaction. Hear their voices, memories, and stories, as well as their needs and demands in fighting for justice. This two-part webinar is a collaborative effort with survivors and family members of MMIP in Southeastern Montana and the family of Kaysera Stops Pretty Places. #JusticeforKaysera Find all #JusticeforKaysera 2021 events at http://www.pipestemlaw.com/kaysera-stops-pretty-places/. #mmip #mmiw #mmiwg #hardin #montana The panels are available for viewing on our YouTube and website sovereign-bodies.org/webinars

Breaking the Silence: LGBTQ2 Survivors of Violence
There is little discussion about the violence perpetrated against individuals who identify as Two-Spirit or Native LGBTQ in our tribal communities. This prevents our Two-Spirit/Native LGBTQ community from coming forward to discuss the violence they have experienced, which makes identifying solutions and healing opportunities impossible. Please join us in this powerful conversation to understand and help break the silence about violence within the Two-Spirit and Native LGBTQ community.

What is a Healthy Native Relationship?
While there are plenty of conversations around unhealthy relationships in Indigenous communities, we rarely talk about positive examples. What is a Healthy Native Relationship? How do we communicate effectively? How do we respect one another as we walk through relationships with our significant others? How do we bring culture and spirituality into our relationships? Join SBI’s very own Lenny Hayes and panelists Monique "Muffy " Mousseau (Cunupa Mani Wi), Felipa De Leon (Tecigila Wi), Agnes Woodward, and Whirlwind Bull as we dive into what a healthy Native relationship looks like.
