The Judge Claudette White Memorial Award is given to applicants who are pursuing a law degree or a college degree with the goal of a career in Inidan child welfare. Each Judge Claudette White Memorial Award is given with a $500 honorarium.
LACEY DONEY
Lacey is a student at Chief Dull Knife College, on the Northern Cheyenne reservation. She is a passionate advocate for the MMIW/MMIP movement, and in the Spring 2023 semester, has been volunteering with SBI, helping the organization grow its media and public outreach. She loves volunteering and giving back to her community, and has also volunteered at the local thrift store on the reservation. Lacey is a proud mother and hopes to role model healing to her family and community.
